Dallas Business Journal: Hewlett Packard Signs Major Lease in Plano
The Platinum Park Office Complex in Plano Has A New Tenant in HP
Hewlett Packard has leased the majority of a Plano office building located on the outskirts of Legacy Business Park. The technology company will occupy 106,325 square feet at Platinum Park, located at 6880 Tennyson Parkway. The entire building spans over 166,000 square feet and its other tenants include BroadSoft, CMI Group and Sage Search Partners. Ryan Evanich, vice president of Stream Realty Partners, which owns the property, said Hewlett Packard signed a long-term lease, but declined to say how long the lease extends.
He did note that Hewlett Packard was attracted to the property thanks to offerings like an on-site fitness facility, conference facility, tenant lounge, food service, a Wi-Fi-enabled courtyard and shuttle service to the Shops at Legacy and Legacy West. “I think it’s a combination of the efficiencies, the visibility and the amenities that the building offers,” Evanich said of Hewlett Packard’s decision to lease at Platinum Park. It isn’t known at this time how many employees will work out of Hewlett Packard’s new space, as plans are still be finalized. The company plans to move in by the end of the year, as reported by the Dallas Morning News.
