Legacy’s business park, located on the stretch of the Dallas North Tollway near Legacy Drive, home to several and upcoming businesses, has experienced a brief break in construction cranes. “Most of the construction has been completed on the new speculative buildings and big office campuses,” said Greg Biggs, managing director with JLL. However, developers are getting ready for the next round of construction. Several office buildings are set to begin construction this year along Legacy Drive.
Legacy West developer Karahan Cos. is introducing a mixed-use building with 87,000-square-feet of new office space. This week, Cawley Partners announced plans for HQ53, an office and mixed-use development project. Moreover, Gaedeke Group is seeking tenants for its 300,000-square-foot, 16-story high-rise office project, Two Legacy West.
There also exists several office campuses that previously housed operations for corporations, which developers plan to reposition to appeal to a new generation of office tenants. The upcoming projects will begin construction soon and allow for more businesses to call the area home.
