The first residents are moving into Windrose Tower after two years of development. Currently, 12 of 98 units have been filled while there are 63 contracts for units. The high rise condos range from 1,150 to 2,700+ square feet. The average resident here are roughly 55 and older, attracting a more mature crowd who are looking for a lifestyle change. For instance, Lael and Randy Melville were one of the first owners at Windrose. They downsized from their 5,000 square foot home in Plano to a 3,000 square feet condo. A big plus for the couple is having a community where they live while having shops and restaurants at Legacy West across the street. The developer Jim Duggan announced that the building is 95% completed with roughly 60 days go to.
